On Nov 1 2008, our kollywood stars made a hunger strike for eelam tamilans. In srilanka, tamil peoples are getting tortured and killed by the militants of srilanka government. This is happening for more than 30 years between tamilans and singhlans. Inorder to stop the war over there and requesting our indian government to stop supplying equipments to srilanka.
All of our kollywood stars Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith, Dhanush, Simbhu, Prakash Raj and all the heroes and co-actors and Heroines Nayanthara, Trisha, Monika, and everyone attended the protest.
And they collected fund to provide basic amenities to eelam tamilans. Rajinikanth gave 10 lakhs, Kamal Haasan gave 5 lakhs, Nayanthara gave 5 lakhs, Sarathkumar 2.5 lakhs, simbhu 2 lakhs and everyone gave up to their satndard. They collected upto 45 lakhs.
